You were walking down the long street with your backpack slumped on your back with your shoulders. You felt crummy. Your normally cheer filled eyes were filled with tears that were barely being held back. You continued walking down the street and began reflecting on earlier that evening in school.

You smiled as you walked down the hallways with an extra jump in your step. You were going to meet your boyfriend Alfred out on the football field. He was the quarterback and claimed to always need to be out practicing. You were okay with it since he loved football. You decided to surprise him by showing up. You turned a corner and saw Alfred kissing a random girl. Your heart sunk as you realized they didn't notice you. You scowled and turned around sharply, your sneakers squeaking against the tile.

"(name)!" Alfred shouted. You scowled darker as you continued to walk and ignore his presence. "Babe, hear me out, It's not how it looks."

You stopped walking and gave a soft sigh. You noticed you were in front of a cafe you see everyday, but never went in. You decided you needed some comfort. Yo stepped in and heard the sound of a bell above you. You looked up out of curiosity and noted the gold bell as you continued to the register.
"Coming coming!" You heard a familiar voice shouted. You couldn't quite trace it, but it sounds so familiar...
"Hello love." You snapped out of your imagination and realized whose voice it was. It was Arthur Kirkland. He and you had the same English class and would occasionally start a conversation. You also had a crush on him ever since but you assumed he didn't like you the same way back, so you settled with Alfred. Thinking back on it, you didn't really like Alfred all too much...
"Hey Arthur." You said, forcing a smile. Arthur raised an abnormally large eyebrow and leaned over the counter.
"Have you been crying?" He asked.
"N-No." Arthur closed his eyes, gave a soft 'tsk' and shook his head. He opened his eyes again and smiled at you.
"Come on," He started extending a hand out to you, "we'll get you a nice cup of tea and-" He started, noticing your expression at the mention of tea, "Or on second though some hot chocolate and you can tell me what happened." He said as you giggled. You took his hand and he led you around the counter.
You sat down on a plastic crate and sipped the warm cup of hot chocolate. Arthur was drinking tea himself and smiled at you. He took another plastic crate and set it down in front of you. He sat down in front of it and smiled at you.
"Now, tell me what's wrong." He said. You frowned and looked down.
"Stupid Alfred."
"Love, we all know he's stupid, but I want to know what's wrong." He said playfully. You giggled and shook your head.
"But he's the problem." You sighed as you took another sip of your warm drink. "I caught him kissing some girl and he was trying to pull it off like it was an accident." You said as you rested your elbow on your knee and placed your chin in your palm.
"Ugh, I've told that git to be a gentleman!" Arthur muttered as he drank his tea. "And then he goes and breaks a lovely lady's heart! I'll give him an earful next time I see him!" He muttered darkly. You laughed and shook your head.
"I-It's alright-"
"It's not though! You are a lovely lady who deserves a gentleman!" He rebutted as he slammed his cup down and put his head in his hands.
"Well it's nice to know you care. A lot. But I'm a woman who don't need no man!" You said as you beat a fist onto your chest. Arthur looked up and sighed.
"But you don't get it. A-Alfred is a jerk to me for the same reason as you." He said quietly. You raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?" You asked. Arthur let out a long sigh and ran a hand through his hair.
"I-I had a crush on you ever since we started talking in class and one day I told Alfred. The next day I saw him talking to you and he told me he asked you out a-and you said yes. After that I was upset and hated Alfred." Arthur finished explaining with a blush on his cheeks.
"Had?"
"What?"
"You said you had a crush on me. Does that mean you don't like e anymore?" You asked blushing. Arthur straightened up and rubbed the back of his head nervously.
